It is with great pleasure that BTF can announce from 1st April 2020, Alex Cornwallis has become a Shareholding Director of the company.

Alex joined BTF in 2010 after graduating from the Royal Agricultural College and he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in June 2014. Since then Alex has quickly worked his way up through the business and was promoted to Director in April 2018 and now having proven himself to be a key player within the team, he becomes a Shareholder.

Alex is a driving force within the agency department, dealing with the sale and letting of rural agricultural, residential and commercial property, whilst also dealing with the acquisitions working alongside Richard Thomas.

Along with Alex’s agency skills, he has a range of estate management clients throughout Kent and is a RICS Registered Valuer undertaking valuations on a full range of rural property throughout the South East. Alex has also had significant success in obtaining several prior approvals under the Class Q Permitted Development provisions and advises clients on planning matters on a regular basis.

Alex is a credit to us all and his decision to accept our equity offer at such an uncertain time is a testament to his character. It is also of course a big statement of confidence from the Shareholders and Alex himself, in the firm’s ability to weather the current storm. We are all proud to welcome ‘home grown’ talent into ownership of the business and know that Alex’s experience, knowledge, youth and expertise will help to continue to push the business forward over the years to come.
