BTF Partnership appointments Qualified Surveyor & Environmental Consultant

BTF Partnership has recently appointed Callum Preece to strengthen its Agriculture and Environment team. Based in the firm’s Challock office, Callum is a qualified surveyor and environmental consultant, and he also undertakes general rural surveying duties.

Callum has a wide range of experience in rural and farm business consultancy matters but specialises in farm grants and subsidies including the Basic Payment and Countryside Stewardship schemes; and he will be advising on their replacements for the Environmental Land Management scheme.

Callum also advises on Natural Capital opportunities, developing and delivering environmental initiatives for farmers and landowners including projects for Biodiversity Net Gain, Carbon accounting and offsetting.

Callum is a Chartered Surveyor, RICS Registered Valuer and a Fellow of the Association of Agricultural Valuers and he comments: “I’m delighted to join BTF Partnership. This is a critical time for many in the rural community as they begin to navigate the many changes and it is vital they have access to all of the options available before deciding the best course of action for their farm business and land holdings.”
