The Woodland Known as Harris Copse, Hill Road, Wouldham
The woodland comprises an unfenced parcel of mixed deciduous trees, including oak, ash, hazel and chestnut coppice. The southern section of the wood forms part of a wooded area known as Wouldham Common, and this adjoins Harris Copse to the north.
The land is within the North Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and is a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
A footpath runs approximately east to west from Hill Road across the woodland and connecting to The Pilgrims Way at the bottom of the slope. Common Lane and Hill Road forms part of the North Downs Way.
