Tom qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and Fellow of the Association of Agricultural Valuers in 1994 and is Managing Director and a founding partner of BTF.

As an RICS Registered Valuer, he undertakes a wide range of property valuations throughout the South East.

Tom specialises in compulsory purchase and compensation having acted for farmers and property owners on a wide range of major infrastructure schemes across the South East over the last 25 years to include HS1. He is currently acting for the majority of property and business owners affected by the proposed Lower Thames Crossing, both north and south of the Thames, as well as those affected by the A2 Ebbsfleet junction improvement works, junction 5 of the M2 and the proposed London Resort scheme up in the Ebbsfleet area.

Tom also specialises in the residential and mixed development sector and specialises in negotiating terms for Option and Promotion Agreements.
